Bookfair
October 18th, 2023
The Scholastic Book Fair is an annual event at TJS with the goal of inspiring a love for reading in all students.
The Book Fair is a great opportunity for students to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. Research shows a link between a student choosing their own book(s) and reading pleasure.
There are many ways to participate in the TJS Book Fair -
Saturday, November 4th
Join us after the Turkey Trot for hot chocolate and activities for students and families. Books for all ages will be
available in the TJS Gym from 9:00am- 11:30am.
In School, November 6th - 8th
Your student(s) will visit the Book Fair with their class during school hours. (see schedule below) Make up times will
be available for anyone that misses their time slot.
After School & Teacher Conferences, November 6th and 7th
The Book Fair will be open after school to align with teacher conferences. Come pick out a book for your favorite teacher or do some holiday shopping.
